Forms work and are configured the same way in Springly, whether you're collecting memberships, donations, selling event tickets, or products through your Online Shop.
Whatever your goal, your page needs to inspire visitors to take action. Here are a few tips to make your forms look their best:
- Add an image to your form
- Engage visitors with a compelling description
- Customize your page's color scheme
Let's get started!
Add an image to your form
Start by going to your form's editing page.
Access your forms from the app by clicking on the Forms tab, then selecting the type of form you want (Memberships, Donations, Events, or Online Shop).
Click "Create your Membership Campaign / Donation Campaign / ..." to create a new one, or edit an existing form by clicking the three vertical dots next to it, then selecting Edit. This takes you to the form editing page.
In Step 1 - General Information, you can add an image to dress up your form. To do so, drag an image from your computer or click Select and choose a file.
The recommended size is 1200 x 626. If your file doesn't match these dimensions, you can resize it in the window that opens.
Once your form is saved, the page updates instantly: the uploaded image appears at the top with a subtle filter, and your form title displays over it.
Here's what your visitors will see:
Engage visitors with a compelling description
Back in Step 1 - General Information of your form editor, you can add a description. This is your chance to craft something that really draws people in!
This section lets you add text, format it, and enrich it with images β all of which help make your form more engaging and visually appealing. Time to get creative!

Your changes appear on your online form right away.
Here's an example of what visitors will see:
Customize your page's color scheme
If you're on the Serenity or Professional plan, you have access to the Website module, which lets you customize your site's color scheme β including your form pages.
Note: These customizations are not available on the Liberty plan, where colors are set by default.
To update your colors, first make sure the Website module is enabled. Go to Settings (at the bottom of the side menu) > Feature Selection. Don't worry β you can activate the Website module without making your site public: just set it to maintenance mode from Website > Settings & Theme.
To update your colors, still from the Settings & Theme page, click Edit Site Theme.
Choose from the available themes, or fully customize colors, textures, and fonts by checking "Advanced Settings" as shown here:
Once you've made your selections, click Save. Changes take effect immediately and apply to all your form pages as well as your entire site if you're using the Website module.
π If you've followed these tips, your forms should be looking great β nice work! Now make sure to share them with the world.
