Your form (memberships, events, online shop) is already published, and some items have already been sold. As a result, certain elements can no longer be edited. This article covers the following:
- What can and cannot be edited for a pricing tier
- Editing a pricing tier with a set inventory or number of spots
What can and cannot be edited for a pricing tier
The price and name of the pricing tier
Once a unit linked to a pricing tier has been sold, you can still edit certain settings — such as the price and tier name — as long as the tier is not tied to a limited number of spots or an inventory limit. Keep in mind that this will not affect past sign-ups.
For example, you offer a membership at $100. Member A signs up at that rate. You then update the tier to $110. Member A remains linked to the original $100 tier they signed up for, while new registrants will be assigned the updated $110 rate.
When you export your registrants to Excel, the original pricing tier will appear with the label "[Deleted]", and a new column will be created for the updated tier.
Inventory or number of available spots
Pricing tiers with a set inventory or number of available spots can no longer be edited once sales have started. A warning message will appear if you attempt to make changes.
However, other settings can still be updated at any time. For instance, you can increase or decrease the maximum number of sales (set in step 4 - Payment and confirmation) even after sales have begun.

Editing a pricing tier with a set inventory or number of spots
The process is the same for Membership Campaigns, Event forms, and Product Sales forms. Only the labels may differ.
Note: this feature does not apply to Donation Campaigns.
Here are the steps:
- Go to the settings of your form;
- In step 2 - Pricing, click the settings icon (gear icon) for the tier you want to edit;
- Click + options: under the Limit the number of participants for this tier or Maximum quantity available option (for Product Sales), you will see the maximum number of units set during the initial form setup. A message will also warn you that changing this number is not possible.
To work around this restriction, follow the steps suggested in the warning message:
- Uncheck the Show this tier during sign-up option for the existing tier;
- Create a new tier by clicking + Tier below the existing tiers;
- If needed, check and set the maximum number of participants you want to apply (under + options);
- Save this new tier before saving your form.
Anyone signing up through your online form will no longer see the tier whose sales have been suspended.
On your end, you can still manually register someone under the original tier whose online sales have been suspended. The label "(Online sales suspended)" will appear next to the tier name.
If you need to edit a specific transaction (change the amount or the item sold to a person), you will need to delete or refund the transaction, then recreate it.
