Once your form is published, you have plenty of options to promote it and bring in members, donors, registrants, and/or buyers! It all comes down to communicating as effectively as possible. Here's what we'll cover:

Prerequisites: publish your form
Springly automatically generates the links you need to share your Membership Campaign, Donation Campaign, or any other form β quickly and without hassle! Just save and publish your form.
In your form settings, you have 2 ways to make sure it's visible and available:
- When creating your form, click Publish;
- If you'd rather save it as a draft and publish later, no problem: go to the Configuration tab of your form, change the status from "Draft" to "Published" at the top of the page, then click Save.
Note: By default, publishing a form makes it accessible via a link. As long as you don't share that link, your community won't be able to find it. To learn more, check out this article.
Getting started with outreach
1- Get your link
For all Membership Campaigns, you'll find the links generated by Springly in the Distribution tab β ready for you to share.
2- Get the word out
Once your Membership Campaign is live and visible, we encourage you to:
- Send an email using the email campaign tool
- Announce your Membership Campaign on your social media channels. Feel free to check out our blog for digital communication tips.
Adding your Membership Campaign to your website
Whatever website you use, we recommend featuring your form prominently. It's the easiest way for your members to find it and sign up online β securely and effortlessly!
Below, you'll find instructions tailored to your situation.
1- Your website is not built on Springly
Even if your site isn't built on Springly, you can still embed your form directly into it. Springly lets you generate a code so your members can join, sign up, pay, and fill in their details β all without leaving your nonprofit's website. Pretty neat, right?
This code β known as an "iframe" β is easy to copy and paste. We've written a dedicated article to walk you through embedding Springly on your website.
2- You use Springly's Website module
If you use Springly's Website module, the winning combination is:
1- Create a dedicated page for your form;
2- Add a button on your Home page that links to your form.

3- You don't have a website
Springly automatically generates a landing page to host your form.
Anyone with the link found on the Distribution page can visit this landing page. You're free to share it by email, on social media, or through any other channel.

More tips to spread the word about your form
Create and share a QR code for your form
If you use flyers or other print materials, a QR code is a great way to promote your forms.
Good news: Springly generates it for you automatically!
Head to the "Distribution" tab of your form, download your QR code, and add it to your materials!
Share on social media
If your nonprofit has social media pages or accounts, your forms deserve a spot there. Take a Membership Campaign as an example β membership season is a major moment for your organization!
Here are some ideas:
- Update your profile banners to reflect the membership campaign, and include the link to your Membership Campaign in the image description;
- Post a variety of content to promote your Membership Campaign: member spotlights, the year's program, upcoming events, a countdown to the registration deadline, etc. β pin your best-performing post to the top of your page;
- Update the main call-to-action button (available on Facebook, for example) to link directly to your Membership Campaign page.

Highlight the benefits of membership
If joining your nonprofit comes with perks, don't miss the chance to spell them out.
Whether it's access to a space or equipment, invitations or discounts for events, early access to news, or anything else β these are exactly the kinds of details that will push an interested person to take the leap and join.
Re-engage past members of your nonprofit
When it comes to filling up your membership roster, the first people to sign up are often the ones you already know. Make sure to send them a personalized message.
If you've been using Springly for a while, spotting them in your community will be a breeze.
You can also encourage them to spread the word about your nonprofit to their networks β they'll become your ambassadors!
Tap into nonprofit networks
Many nonprofits belong to a broader network β a great opportunity to get your Membership Campaign in front of new people.
You can also reach out to local community centers, neighborhood organizations, or your city or town hall. They may be willing to display your flyers or share your Membership Campaign in their newsletter, on their social media, or on their website. This works especially well for nonprofits with strong local roots.
Host a kickoff event β in person or online!
A friendly gathering is a great way to share the spirit of your nonprofit and inspire people to get involved. It doesn't need to be a big production β an intimate get-together works perfectly.
It's a chance to introduce your nonprofit, its members, and its work. Guests can ask questions and enjoy a personal connection with the people who run the organization.
If gathering in person isn't possible, a small online event works just as well.
For in-person events, make sure you have internet access so interested attendees can sign up on the spot.
