If you're currently on a Springly plan, you can change it at any time — upgrade or downgrade to match your organization's needs.

Available plan changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time during your subscription. When you do, you can choose a monthly or annual billing cycle.
Here's an overview of the changes available for each plan:
From the Payment plans (100% free)
You can upgrade to the Serenity or Professional plan.
All data on your platform will be retained.
From the Serenity plan
If your nonprofit is on the Serenity plan, you can switch to:
- the Professional plan to access more advanced features.
If you have advanced groups, you cannot switch to the Communication or Accounting plan.
From the Accounting plan
You can switch to the Serenity or Professional plan.
With these plans, all your book entries are retained, and you gain access to a wide range of new features: member management, Membership Campaigns, Donation Campaigns, ticketing, website, communication, and more.
If you are on a paid plan, you cannot switch to a free plan (e.g., the Liberty plan) while keeping the same platform. To use the Liberty plan, you must cancel your current subscription and create a new 100% free platform. Make sure to export your data before your subscription ends.
Where to manage the change
From your platform, go to Settings > Subscription and click the "Change subscription" button.
You'll land on the Subscription selection page.
To switch to a different plan, click the "Explore other plans" button.
Select from the available paid plans and click "Choose".
The new plan is automatically applied on the Subscription selection page.
Select your desired number of contacts and your billing cycle (monthly/annual). Then click "Next" to proceed to the confirmation and payment step.
Payment for the current period (annual/monthly) is charged when the subscription is confirmed. A new invoice will be generated and the charge will be processed within 3 days.

Downgrading your plan
If you're currently on the Serenity plan and want to downgrade, go to the Plan Change page and click the tab for the plan you want.
Plan changes take effect immediately. Be sure to export and download any data you won't have access to after switching.
Billing process
When you upgrade or downgrade, we issue a credit note for the unused portion of your previous subscription.
For example, if you switch from the Communication plan to the Serenity plan mid-period, the platform will:
- generate an invoice for a full period (annual/monthly) for the Serenity plan,
- charge you the difference between the new invoice and the credit note.
