This article explains how Springly's plan pricing works, including:
- The Payment plan pricing
- The Serenity and Professional plan pricing and the tier system
- The Accounting plan pricing
- Paid add-ons
The Payment Plan
This plan is 100% focused on your collections — whether that's memberships, donations, or event ticketing. It's designed to help your nonprofit grow its revenue.
The Payment plan is free: setting up a platform on this plan and using it over time costs you nothing.
With this plan, you can offer online credit card payments for memberships, donations, and events.
Online payments come with a cost. Springly gives you the flexibility to decide how you want to handle it — choose between two options:
- Payment Fees: your nonprofit covers the transaction fees on online payments. The exact amount is listed at the bottom of our Pricing page.
- Tip: you allow Springly to suggest a tip to the payer at checkout. The payer can adjust the tip amount. The tip goes to Springly.
You can switch between these two options at any time, directly from your platform.
Please note: Payment Fees and Tips only apply to online payments. If you collect payments offline (e.g., checks, cash, wire transfers, etc.), there is no cost.
The Serenity and Professional Plans and the Tier System
The Serenity and Professional plans are paid subscription plans.
Subscriptions are based on a tiered system tied to your number of contacts: the more contacts you have, the higher the subscription cost.
You can estimate the cost for each tier on our Pricing page.
What is a contact?
A contact is any record saved in your database (the "Contacts" section of your Community). This typically refers to individuals (members, donors, volunteers, etc.), but it can also include organizations such as nonprofits or companies, within the Structure CRM included in the Professional plan.
The Tier System
Your subscription is based on tiers determined by your contact count. If you exceed the number of contacts included in your plan on your anniversary month, an invoice is issued. It is calculated based on the difference between your current tier and the tier that matches your actual contact count.
Here is a visual example:
Commitment and Billing Frequency
For the Serenity and Professional plans, you can choose between an annual or monthly subscription.
- A monthly subscription commits you for one month. You pay your subscription amount each month.
- An annual subscription commits you for 12 months. You pay the full subscription amount upfront.
Please note: an annual subscription saves you 20% compared to a monthly plan.
Paid Add-Ons
Some add-ons are available for an additional fee on Springly, including:
-
Advanced groups, which give chapters, sections, or local groups their own dedicated management space within your platform.
- 5 advanced groups are included in the Professional plan
- To learn more about advanced groups, see the dedicated article
- The cost of additional advanced groups is listed at the bottom of our Pricing page.
- Additional emails: if you need more emails than what's included in your subscription, you can purchase more. The cost per additional 1,000 emails is listed at the bottom of our Pricing page.
