In the interest of transparency, we do our best to make all necessary information available to nonprofits looking to use our services โ before subscribing and throughout their time using Springly.
That said, things can slip through the cracks. Below are the situations where a refund may be considered, in a spirit of goodwill and fairness.
For each situation, we outline the eligibility requirements and how the refund is applied.
Late cancellation
Overview
You can subscribe to Springly on either an annual or monthly basis.
At the end of your annual or monthly commitment, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it beforehand. You can cancel directly from the Platform on the "My Subscription" page.
For annual subscriptions, you will receive an email notice ahead of the automatic renewal so you have time to act.
Eligibility requirements
- Refunds apply to annual subscriptions only;
- The request must be submitted within 15 days of the subscription renewal.
Refund terms
All subscription refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Withdrawal after subscribing
Situation
The nonprofit subscribed to a Springly plan on an annual commitment. A technical issue or functional limitation is preventing them from fully using the software, and they wish to cancel their subscription.
Eligibility requirements
- Refunds apply to annual subscriptions only;
- The cancellation request must be submitted within 15 days of the initial subscription;
- The cancellation must be due to a technical issue or a functional limitation of the software.
Refund terms
All subscription refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Forgotten promo code
Situation
The nonprofit subscribed without entering their promo code, which entitled them to a discount. As a result, the discount was not applied to the subscription amount.
Eligibility requirements
- Have a valid promo code
- The request must be submitted within 15 days of subscribing
Refund terms
Since the discount was missed due to an oversight on the nonprofit's part, the refund will be issued as a credit note applied to the nonprofit's next subscription invoice.
After a long free period
Situation
The nonprofit benefited from a free annual subscription (through a partnership with a federation, for example). At the end of the free period, the subscription renews automatically, but the free access is no longer valid (e.g., a 12-month promo code has expired). An invoice is then generated and the nonprofit is notified.
However, the nonprofit no longer wishes to use Springly.
Eligibility requirements
- Have cancelled the subscription from the Platform
- Or contact our support team to let them know about the situation
Refund terms
Since no invoice has been paid, this is not a refund situation โ it is a cancellation of the outstanding balance. The invoice will simply be voided.
