You are configuring your OVH-managed domain yourself. This article walks you through the process and covers the following topics:
- Add a CNAME record
- Add a TXT record
- Redirect from mynpo.org to www.mynpo.org
- Confirm your configuration in Springly (required)
If you run into issues, we can only configure the domain on your behalf if you purchase the paid option in the platform. If you prefer not to, you can check that the configuration has been finalized in Springly and contact OVH support.
Add a CNAME record
General case
Log in to your Manager space on the OVH website and select your domain name.
Go to the DNS Zone tab and click Add an entry on the right side of the page.
Select CNAME.
Once the window opens, you'll be setting up a redirect of the following type: www IN CNAME assoconnect-3-esdee4h2h5c6d9gj.z01.azurefd.net. Fill in the fields as follows:
Confirm and you're done — all that's left is to complete the configuration process in Springly.
The target domain must be "assoconnect-x-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.z01.azurefd.net". For example, if your organization is named "My Nonprofit", the target will be "assoconnect-2-czcyhchkh8agebdx.z01.azurefd.net." — not "my-nonprofit.assoconnect.com". We update the target domain every 100 registered domains, so this article will be kept up to date. If you've already configured your domain name, no changes are needed on your end.
Additional checks
Your CNAME record may not have been saved even after following the steps above. To confirm, check your DNS zone in text mode.
If the record doesn't appear, the operation didn't go through. This can happen when other CNAME or TXT records already exist for the subdomain ("www").
In that case, we recommend:
- Deleting any TXT or A records associated with the domain in question:
For example: www (i.e., www.mynpo.org TXT 3|welcome and www.mynpo.org TXT I|en) - Deleting the CNAME pointing to Springly and recreating it.
Add a TXT record
- Subdomain: Leave blank if the record applies to the root domain (e.g., mynpo.org), or enter the relevant subdomain (e.g.,
www) - TTL: Keep the default value suggested by OVH
- Value: Enter the value provided by Springly
⚠️ TXT record propagation can take up to 48 hours.
Redirect from mynpo.org to www.mynpo.org
This step is strongly recommended if you've set up a CNAME on "www". Without it, your website will be reachable at www.mynpo.org but not at mynpo.org — anyone who doesn't type the full URL will see an error message.
Three redirects are required:
- http://mynpo.org -> https://www.mynpo.org
- http://www.mynpo.org -> https://www.mynpo.org
- https://mynpo.org -> https://www.mynpo.org
⚠️ The last redirect cannot be set up directly through OVH's redirect module — it requires configuring hosting with OVH. We are unable to do this for you, and we strongly recommend contacting OVH Support, as this step is essential: if it's not completed, your page will be inaccessible in browsers.
Click the Add a redirect button on the right side of the page. Leave the field blank, then select the options to a web address and with a visible redirect.
Select the Permanent (301) option, then enter your domain name in the field (https://www.mynpo.org) including the "www". Make sure to confirm through to the final step.

Confirm your configuration in Springly (required)
Even if you're configuring your domain name yourself, you'll still need to complete the setup inside Springly. This sends a request to our team, who will take care of the final steps — including installing the SSL certificate.
Go to Website > Settings & Theme > Domain Name. Select the options I already own a domain name and I'm configuring my domain name myself.
Then simply complete the 3 required steps:
Once these steps are confirmed, our team will connect your domain name to your website within 72 business hours.
