Have a sales campaign, Membership Campaign, or Donation Campaign that's run its course and you want to archive or remove it? Or maybe you have a draft form you're ready to publish?
This article walks you through how to do it.
Archive a form
A form cannot be permanently deleted from your Springly platform, as doing so could affect other modules.
However, you can archive it β it will no longer appear in your forms list by default. Here's how:
- Go to the Forms module, then select the form type: Memberships, Donations, Events, or Product Sales;
- Hover over the form you want to update, then click the three vertical dots > Edit:
In the Configuration tab of your form, a Status field appears with the following options: Published, Draft, Sales Suspended, and Archived.
- Select the desired status;
- Click Save once you've made your change.
Please note: an archived form is no longer accessible to your contacts. However, it is not permanently deleted β you can still find your archived forms in the forms menu. See the last section of this article to learn how.
Change the status of a form
To change a form's status, follow the same steps as for archiving it (Form > Edit > Status). You can choose from the following statuses:
- Published: your form will be accessible via a link and/or on your website. To learn how to share a form, check out this article.
- Draft: select this if you still need to make changes before going live. The form won't be visible to anyone looking to sign up.
- Sales Suspended: use this status to pause sales β for example, once an event is over. Sign-ups will no longer be possible and the form will no longer be visible.
Find and filter forms by status
You can view all your forms β including archived ones β and filter them by status.
Here's how:
- Go to Forms, then select the form type you want (for example, Events);
- Click "+ Filters": a "Status" field will appear;
- Click the "Status" field to choose which statuses to display, including archived forms (hidden by default):
You can also choose to display only specific forms.
For example, if you only want to see published forms, uncheck the other statuses (Draft, Suspended, or Archived if they were visible):
