Whether for your forms, sales, or events, you can limit the number of attendees across your entire ticketing or for a specific pricing tier.
First, make sure to enable the option under Settings > Forms and ticketing, in the Registrant control section.
In this article, we explain how to set a limit:
Limit across all sales
Here's an example: you have an event capped at 20 spots and want only the first 20 people to be able to register.
To do this, go to your event form configuration, at step 4 - Payment and confirmation. Click More options.
An options panel will appear. In the Limit the total number of attendees across all sales field, enter the maximum number of attendees after which sales will be closed.
Save your form (click Publish at the bottom, or Save at the top of the page).
Note that this number can be updated at any time after your ticketing is created.
Limit by pricing tier
Say you have two pricing tiers to encourage early sign-ups:
- A $5 tier for the first 20 people;
- A $10 tier for registrants beyond that number.
To limit the number of attendees for a specific tier, go to the Pricing tiers section of the ticketing. Click the gear icon next to the relevant tier.
The tier will open in edit mode and you can make your changes. To limit the available quantity:
- click More options;
- then check Limit the number of attendees for this tier;
- enter the maximum number of attendees allowed in the field that appears;
- finally, click Confirm on the tier, then save your form.
Please note that this limit is not available for all pricing tier types.
