You purchased a paid ticket to an Event (workshop, conference, etc.), a product from an Online Shop, or a Membership from a nonprofit that uses Springly for its day-to-day management โ and now you'd like a refund.
- You paid online by credit or debit card
- You paid by another method (cash, check, wire transfer, etc.)
Please note: only the nonprofit using Springly can process your refund. You'll need to reach out to them directly to request it. You can find their contact information in the purchase confirmation email you received, or on their website.
You paid online by credit or debit card
You paid the full amount in a single payment
In this case, the nonprofit's Administrators can process your refund directly online through Springly.
The funds will appear in your bank account within a few days.
You paid in installments
The nonprofit offered an installment option, allowing you to pay by card in multiple payments. You chose this option, paid the first installment at the time of purchase, and the remaining payments have not yet been charged.
In this case, contact the nonprofit and ask them to cancel the upcoming payments so you are not charged further.
The nonprofit can then refund the payments you've already made. This refund will be processed offline โ for example, by cash, wire transfer, or check.
You left a tip for Springly
The nonprofit you purchased from may have enabled the Tip option to cover online payment costs โ this allows them to avoid paying Payment Fees themselves. When this is the case, a tip for Springly is suggested at checkout when you pay by card.
If you left a tip, it will not be refunded.
Example: You purchased a $100 Membership by card and left a $2 tip for Springly, for a total charge of $102. If you request a refund for the Membership, you will receive $100 (the Membership price), but the $2 tip you gave to Springly will not be refunded.
You paid by a method other than card
If your purchase was made offline (e.g., by check, cash, wire transfer, etc.), the nonprofit will refund you through the same offline method.
As with any refund request, reach out to the nonprofit directly to arrange it.
