Need to add a new bank account (IBAN) to your nonprofit? Here's everything you need to know about adding an IBAN and the security hold period before payouts.
Email notification when an IBAN is added
When a new bank account (IBAN) is added in the platform, an email is automatically sent to all main Administrators of the nonprofit.
Please note: Some online or virtual bank accounts are not supported and will be automatically rejected by our system.
Security hold before a payout
Once an IBAN is added, a security hold of 5 days is automatically applied before any payouts can be sent to that account.
These two measures keep Administrators informed whenever a new IBAN is added, so they can verify the details and take action if needed β for example, if the information looks incorrect or the addition was unauthorized.
π During this period, payments will continue to be collected as usual, but no payout will be sent to the new IBAN.
