On Springly, you can recreate your nonprofit network by creating groups within your Community.
When more than 50 basic or advanced groups are affiliated with a network head, certain limitations apply to ensure optimal page load times despite the large volume of data.
Displaying Group-Specific Custom Fields
As a reminder: you can create Custom Fields that are specific to a group.
When the main organization has a large number of direct groups (50 or more), Custom Fields belonging to those groups cannot be accessed directly from the main administration.
Group Administrators can still access them from within their group's administration area.
This rule applies everywhere. As a result, from the main administration, Custom Fields belonging to child groups are not displayed:
- In contact profile pages,
- Among the “information to display” options you can check just above the table in Community > Contacts,
- In Community Excel exports,
- In advanced search filter categories.
If this applies to your situation and some information isn't showing up, this is not a bug — it's an intentional technical decision to ensure pages load properly.
Adding a Contact to a Group
From Community > Contacts in the main administration, you can add a contact to a group by selecting them and then clicking the "Add to a group" button.
To keep things manageable, not all groups are displayed when you have more than 50. In that case, a search bar is available so you can quickly find the group you want to add the selected contact to.
