Large nonprofit networks often have many chapters, which can themselves be broken down into sub-groups. On Springly, this means multiple groups and levels to navigate across.
This article explains how to navigate across the groups in your nonprofit network on Springly.
Visually identifying where you are
There's one reliable indicator: the color of the side menu in your admin interface.
- If it's blue, you're at the main nonprofit's admin level
- If it's green, you're in the admin area of a group within the network
How do I switch from one chapter to another?
From your admin interface, click the chevron next to your name in the top left corner. A menu will appear — click Browse the network.
You'll land on a page listing all the groups in your platform.
Clicking on a group lets you:
- See whether it is dependent (same legal entity as the parent level, icon: 🔗) or independent (its own legal entity, icon: 🔗 with a strikethrough)
- View contact information (mailing address, phone number)
- Access the platform
- Manage administrators
- View any sub-groups it contains
If a group contains another sub-group (as shown above), you can repeat the process and access the same information and options at that level too.
A breadcrumb trail shows you the path from the main nonprofit's admin level down to the group you're currently viewing.
