Delete a Group

Before you start

Did you create a group by mistake, or do you have a group that's no longer needed? You can clean things up on your platform as explained below.

If you have restricted information fields to a group, deleting the group will also delete those associated fields.

Only a primary Administrator has the permissions required to delete a group.

To delete one or more groups, go to Community > Groups and click the "..." button next to the group in question.

Then click Delete.

This action is permanent — there is no archive or restore function for groups.

Deleting a group does not delete its members. They will still appear on the Community > Contacts page.
