Networks Offer: Setting Up the Business Account for the Nonprofit's Main Group

This article walks through the steps the Legal Representative must follow to create the Business Account for the nonprofit's main group.

Note: The Legal Representative is the account owner.

Step 1 - Confirm account information

An email is sent to the Legal Representative to kick off the account creation process.

Clicking the link opens a pre-filled form that should be reviewed carefully before proceeding.

Once Step 4 is complete, the Legal Representative can submit the form. They will then receive an email with the account terms of use and be prompted to create their user account (next step).

A note on documents: the General Assembly Minutes are pre-filled automatically. However, an additional document may be required. If so, an email will be sent during Step 5 specifying which document is needed.

Step 2 - Create the Legal Representative's user account

The next step is to create the Legal Representative's user account. Please refer to this article: Create a Business Account user account.

Step 3 - Verify the Legal Representative's identity

Once the account is created, the Legal Representative will be prompted to verify their identity. We recommend completing this step right away if your ID is nearby.

Step 4 - Enable biometric authentication and finalize the user account

Regardless of whether your identity has been verified, you will be taken to a page where you can enable fingerprint or Face ID authentication — so you won't need to enter the 6-digit code you set up in Step 2.

Finally, you will be redirected to your Business Account dashboard.
Your access will be limited until Step 5 is complete.

Step 5 - Verify the Business Account

Once the following conditions are met:

• The account information has been confirmed;
• The Legal Representative's identity has been verified;
• The Legal Representative's user account has been created;

Your Business Account will be verified by our partner. This typically takes one business day.

That's it — your Business Account is ready. Congratulations! 🎉
