By default, your site or platform is accessible via a URL in the format [your-org-name].assoconnect.com (for example: mynonprofit.assoconnect.com). You can customize your platform's subdomain at any time.
Note: this article only covers subdomains. If you want to use your own custom Domain Name (e.g., www.mynonprofit.org), please refer to the article Linking your site to a domain name you own.
What is a subdomain?
A subdomain is the part of a URL that points to a specific site. For example, the subdomain of www.sitename.com is "www". On your Springly platform, the subdomain of mynonprofit.assoconnect.com is "mynonprofit".
By default, your subdomain is based on your organization's name, as entered when you created your platform. You can update it at any time.
Changing your site name in the URL
To change your platform's subdomain, go to your admin area and navigate to Website > Settings and Theme > Domain Name.
You will be taken to the following page.
Update your site or platform address in the field before ".assoconnect.com". Once you've made your change, click Update.
Once the change is saved, your site will no longer be accessible at [oldname].assoconnect.com — it will only be available at [newname].assoconnect.com.
Changing this field will break all existing links — they will no longer lead anywhere. You will need to update any external materials where those links appear.
