Before You Begin
The Attendance Sheet feature lets you track attendance across your various meetings and sessions.
For example, a sports club can track which members attended or missed a class. All groups can enable Attendance Sheets.
Setting up Attendance Sheets
First, you need to enable the Attendance Sheet feature for the relevant group.
To do this, go to Community > Groups, hover over the group you want, and click Configure.
You can now enable the Attendance Sheet feature.
Managing your Attendance Sheets
Once inside a group's space, you can view and edit your Attendance Sheets. Go to Community > Attendance Sheets.
You can now edit an Attendance Sheet directly, enter the date and mark attendees, or create a new sheet as needed.
You can also do this from your smartphone, or print a paper copy if you don't have access to a computer when filling out the Attendance Sheet.
Attendance Sheet limitations
Exporting attendees
It is not possible to export the names of attendees for a given sheet. However, you can download the sample template available for the relevant group. If needed, you can also print the page from your browser using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+P".
In this template, you'll find a list of everyone in the group, and you can fill it out manually by checking off the names of those who attended.
Editing an Attendance Sheet by person
It is not possible to view an Attendance Sheet by person — for example, to track attendance and absences over a given period.
If this tracking is essential for you, a workaround is to add this information as a Custom Field on the member profile. In that case, only administrators with community permissions will be able to edit and view this information.
