In the platform, you can add a sign-up/account creation button. This lets people create an account to access their account information or view private content.

Managing the login/sign-up page
You can manage this page from Website > Settings and theme by clicking the "Sign-up page & Profile" button at the bottom of the page.
Account creation options
You can set a rule for account creation. To do so:
- Click the Sign-up page & Profile button.
- Under the "Sign-up Form" section, you'll have three options to choose from.

On the login page, people will not be able to create an account โ the button will not be available.

However, people can still sign up through registration forms that are "open to everyone" by filling in the sign-up fields or clicking the "Continue without an account" button.
If a Membership Campaign or Donation Campaign is used, an account will be automatically created in the database after sign-up.
Yes, with open sign-up
Users will be free to create an account using the "Create an account" button.
No validation system will be applied, which means:
- People who create an account are added directly to your contact database.
- There is a risk of duplicate entries if those users already exist in the database.

This option is selected by default when your website is active.
Yes, with approval-required sign-up
This option enables account creation with approval. People will not have immediate access to their account or the site's private content โ sign-ups must first be reviewed and approved by you.
Sign-up requests will be held for approval under Community > Contacts.
You'll then be able to approve, decline/archive, or contact people.
This option can be useful:
- If you're in a volunteer recruitment phase and need to meet people before approving their account.
- To prevent duplicate entries in your database.
Information to collect during sign-up/account creation
If you allow account creation โ whether approval is required or not โ you can collect information about the person signing up.
All fields configured under Settings > Community are available as options.
You can choose to:
- not request them,
- make them optional,
- make them required.

The person must fill in their information and click the "Create my account" button to create it or submit it for approval.

Once you've made your selections, don't forget to save them by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
How to customize your login page
You can customize the design and background image of your login/sign-up page.
To do so, follow the steps below:
- From Website > Settings and theme, click the "Login page" button at the bottom of the page.
- You have 3 ways to customize the background image displayed on your page.
The platform will automatically display a simple background on the login page.
Use an image or photo of your choice
You can upload the image of your choice in the designated area.
Preview
Automatically use a new photo every day
The login image will be automatically refreshed for you every day.
Don't forget to save your choice by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
