With the free plan, you can accept sign-ups through your Membership Campaigns or Donation Campaigns — regardless of the payment method used. And it's completely free and easy to use.

Managing tips or payment fees
There are 2 compensation methods:
Payment Fees: Your nonprofit covers the transaction fees (1.8% + $0.25).
Tip: For a 100% free service, encourage your members to leave a voluntary tip.
How does it work?
When setting up your e-wallet, you'll have two options:
- Enable the tip feature
- Use payment fees
If you already set up your e-wallet before this feature was introduced, you can update your choice under Settings > Online Payment:
A nonprofit can switch its compensation method at any time. The change will apply to future transactions only.
How does the tip work?
At the Payment step, Springly will suggest a tip to the buyer. The suggested amount is calculated based on the total order amount and will range between $0.25 and $25.
Example,
Membership fee = $10
At checkout, the platform will suggest a tip of $2.35:
Buyers can adjust the amount by clicking 'Edit My Tip', or choose not to leave a tip at all.
For installment payments, the tip is split across all installments. It's added on top of the original order amount.
Example
If my order total is $150 with a $4 tip, my payment schedule will be:
1st installment = $51.34 ($1.34 tip)
2nd installment = $51.33 ($1.33 tip)
3rd installment = $51.33 ($1.33 tip)
As usual, a confirmation email will be sent to your member with the full payment breakdown (transaction amount + tip).
Tips are not offered for offline payments (check, cash, or other methods).
If the original order is refunded, the tip will not be refunded to the user by Springly.
