Having trouble importing bank transactions for your bank reconciliation? This article walks you through the most common issues and how to fix them.
This article covers:
Why my transactions aren't importing
Transactions aren't available yet
Transactions are imported every night, so there may be a delay before they appear.
Viewing imported transactions
To view imported transactions, you need to create a reconciliation statement. Use the Create a new statement button on the Accounting > Bank reconciliation page.
Transactions visible in Linxo but not in Springly
Even if a transaction appears in Linxo, there are several reasons it may not show up in Springly. We only import transactions that are more recent than the last transaction already imported into Springly. Also note that it can take up to 24 hours for a transaction to move from Linxo into Springly.
For example, if the last imported transaction is dated 04/15, transactions from 04/15, 04/14, and earlier will not be imported.
These restrictions are in place to prevent duplicate transactions from being created in the platform โ for instance, if you've already imported transactions via a CSV/OFX file and those same transactions also exist in Linxo.
Importing via CSV/OFX file
If file-imported transactions aren't showing up, it could mean:
- File import isn't supported for this bank;
- The transactions are older than ones already imported (same logic as Linxo);
- The file contains errors โ make sure you haven't modified it.
The connection between Linxo and Springly is no longer working
Sometimes the connection between Linxo and Springly can drop. When this happens, you'll receive an email notifying you and prompting you to restore the connection.

Information to provide
If transactions still fail to import after you've run through the checks above, contact our support team and we'll import them for you. To help us understand the situation, please provide:
- A screenshot showing the transactions in Linxo;
- The date range the transactions fall within;
- The bank account name in Springly;
- If it's a file import, the CSV/OFX file you used.
Submit your request at support.assoconnect.com under Help > Accounting.
Bypassing the block for Linxo
We can import on your behalf any transactions that are in Linxo but haven't made it into Springly. This action will:
- Re-import transactions that exist in Linxo but not in Springly;
- Not re-import transactions already imported via Linxo that are already in Springly.
If you previously imported transactions via a CSV/OFX file, they will be re-imported if they also exist in Linxo. You will then need to delete these duplicate transactions.
The block involves a file import
In this case, we cannot bypass the block: the platform will only import transactions that are more recent than the last transaction already in Springly.
In that case, we recommend manually pointing your entries, as explained here.
