You've sent an email campaign and noticed that some recipients didn't open it โ or never received it at all. Here's what you can do:
Identify the recipients in question
When you open a campaign's details, you can view the sending statistics, which group recipients by status. This information appears at the bottom of the page:
You can display the list of recipients for each sending status:
- Pending
- Received
- Pre-send bounce / Soft bounce / Hard bounce โ see dedicated article
- Reported as Spam
And by read status:
- Opened
- Clicked
- Unread
- Undelivered (based on the filter above)
Reach out to recipients
If you need to follow up with specific people from your campaign based on their status, you can do so. Simply display the recipient list for the relevant status, then export it:
Important: never re-contact addresses marked as hard bounces or pre-send bounces. These addresses are considered invalid, and emailing them again will hurt your sender reputation. If needed, reach out by phone to ask for a valid email address.
From your exported list, create a new mailing list not linked to the Community from the Emailing > Lists page.
You can then copy and paste email addresses from Excel to add them to the list:
You can then use this list for a new email campaign.
