The e-wallet feature (which allows you to collect online payments) is available internationally, but only in specific situations. This article covers exactly when that applies.
When online payments are available
Opening and using an e-wallet for business purposes is possible if:
- the organization's Legal Representative is an adult individual with legal capacity and holds a valid government-issued ID (national identity card, passport, or residence permit);
- the organization is based in a European Union (EU) member state or is part of the European Economic Area (EEA);
- the organization or individual holds a bank account with a credit institution located in the EU or EEA, and where applicable, a 3D Secure-enabled Payment Card linked to that bank account;
- the e-wallet is verified.
Online transactions are denominated and processed exclusively in euros.
