Springly is a cloud-based platform, so multiple people can work in it at the same time β safely and without conflicts. Each person must first be granted administrator rights.
For more information on adding an administrator, see this article.
In this article:
Accessing administrator management
To access the administrator management area, click Settings (1) at the bottom of your side menu, then click Administrators (2).
This page displays the full list of your administrators along with their rights. As the primary administrator of the platform, you can update any administrator's rights at any time by clicking the Rights icon on the right side of each row.
Types of administrator rights
You can assign different rights to each administrator:
- Full access to the entire platform and all data.
- Or restricted access to one or more modules (Community, Accounting, etc.).
An administrator can only access the modules they've been granted rights to. For example, a communications manager won't be able to access the accounting module unless that right has been enabled.
Only a primary administrator can add or remove administrators from the platform.
Note: This list does not include group administrators. To learn more about group administration, read this article.
What each type of right allows
Primary administrator
A primary administrator has access to all modules. They can also:
- Add or remove other administrators.
- View and edit organization information (subscription, name, etc.).
Membership/Donation and Event/Product Sales manager
This role can create and manage Campaigns and ticketing (adding registrants, etc.).
Some restrictions apply, and additional rights will be needed in the following cases:
- Adding payments to transactions with deferred payment (accounting rights required).
- Publishing a Campaign or ticketing page to the website (communication rights required).
Community manager
This role can add or remove members from the database and edit their profile information as needed. They can contact members by sending basic emails, but cannot send email campaigns.
Communications manager
This role has rights over the Website and Communication modules. They can write and publish pages, manage site settings (theme, footer, domain name, etc.), and send email campaigns to members and mailing lists.
Accounting manager
This role can manage all book entries β creating, editing, and reviewing them β as well as access accounting documents and close the accounting period.
For some modules, you can fine-tune the rights granted even further. Simply click Go further to expand additional options β for example, you can limit an administrator to only editing website pages.
All available options are shown below:
Business Account manager
This role grants access to the Business Account tab and its features: ordering a payment card, managing administrators, making wire transfers, etc.
This requires an active Expert plan and Business Account subscription beforehand.
