Your fully customizable, responsive website is designed to be easy to use and tailored to your needs. You can manage your site's structure at any time โ no technical background required โ and changes take effect immediately.
This article walks you through how to reorder menus and pages on your site.
Before diving in, a few quick reminders:
- your site's navigation is built around "menus" and "pages";
- a "menu" appears at the top of your site;
- a menu can contain one or more pages.
In the following example:
- NEWS, ROADMAP, and FAQ are menus
- UPDATES, WEBINARS & TRAINING, and CLIENT NEWSLETTERS are the three pages linked to the NEWS menu
Now that's out of the way, let's get started!
Accessing menu and page management
Go to Website > Menus and pages to access your site's structure.
On this screen, you'll find:
- Outlined in green below: the list of menus and their associated pages. This is the section you'll be working with. See this article for detailed information on menus;
- Outlined in pink: the Drafts section, with menus and pages not yet published;
- Outlined in orange: the Trash section, with deleted menus and pages.
Reordering site menus
You can reorder menus by dragging them using the icon on each block. When you do this, the pages within each menu move along with it as a single block.
Only drop the block when you see a green highlight appear in the area where you're moving the menu.
Reordering site pages
To move pages within a menu or to a different menu, use the same drag-and-drop approach with the four-arrow icon next to the page title.
You can see your changes live by switching to the public view of your site. To do so, click "Visit site" in your left sidebar menu.
We recommend keeping two browser tabs open: one in admin mode and one showing your public site. That way, you can refresh your site tab to instantly see any changes you make.
