We've all been there — you've tried a few times and still can't remember the password you set to log in to the platform. Follow the steps below to get back on track.
- Go to the login page
- Set a new password
- I'm not receiving the email to set a new password — what should I do?
Go to the login page
Forgotten your password? Creating a new one is straightforward. Head to your nonprofit's website and click the Log in button.
Depending on your site's theme and page settings, this button may appear in the header or the footer, as shown below.
To find out where this button is located and how to move it, check out this article.
Site unavailable or not found
You may be in one of the following situations:
- you can no longer find your nonprofit's website;
- you don't know the exact website address (domain name);
- your nonprofit doesn't use the Website module;
- the site is under maintenance.
No need to worry: to make sure you find the right platform, go directly to assoconnect.com and click the "Log in" button.
Enter your email address and select the right platform from the list to access it.
💡Pro tip: bookmark the links in your browser for quick access.
If your site is under maintenance, you'll see the page below when you try to access it. If you're a platform Administrator, simply click the Administrator login button.
If you're a member of the nonprofit but not a platform Administrator, you won't be able to log in while the site is under maintenance. In that case, we recommend reaching out to an Administrator directly.
Set a new password
On the login page, click the "Forgot your password?" link, as shown below.
Enter the email address linked to your account and click Continue.
A confirmation message will let you know that an email has been sent to the address you provided. From that email, click Reset my password to set a new password and log back in to your platform.
Your new password must meet the following requirements:
- it must be different from your first name, last name, and email address;
- it must contain at least one number;
- it must contain at least one lowercase letter and one uppercase letter;
- it must contain at least one special character from the following: * ! ? # ; % * $ ^ : \ / § € $ and £;
- it must be at least 8 characters long.
Once your new password is set, simply log in with it on the login page to access your account.
Good to know: your old password remains valid until you actually set a new one — even if you've requested a reset. So if you remember your old password before completing the process, you can still use it to log in. Once you've set a new password, however, the old one will no longer work.
I'm not receiving the email to set a new password — what should I do?
Email not received
If you haven't received the email, it may have landed in your spam folder. To find it:
- search for the address "no-reply@infos-assoconnect.com" in your inbox;
- check your spam or junk mail folder.
Still can't find the email
The email address you entered may not be the one associated with your account.
In that case, we recommend:
- double-checking that you didn't make a typo in the email address you entered;
- trying another email address that may have been used to create your account;
- searching your inbox for any past emails from the platform — for example, the message you received when your account was created. If you can't find any, another email address was likely saved to your profile.
If you still can't identify the right email address linked to your account, reach out to a platform Administrator. They can look up the email address on your profile, correct it if needed, and/or send you an invitation to set your password.
