Your Community holds all the information about the people connected to your nonprofit β whether individual contacts or organizations (Structure CRM is available on the Professional plan only).
From your platform, you can reach out to these contacts, update their information, assign them to groups, and more. If you ever need to export that data for another purpose, here's how to do it.
Note: The process is exactly the same for Persons (individual contacts) and Structures (organizations, available on the Professional plan).
Select the rows to export
Go to your database via Community > Contacts.
If you're on the Professional plan, select the tab you need: Persons or Structure. For all other plans, you're already in the right place.
To export only a subset of your contacts, use the available search options: the search bar, filters, or advanced search.
Select rows by checking the checkboxes on the left side of each row.
Example: we filtered by current members β there are five of them β and selected all of them by checking the box in the first row of the table.
Select all rows
To select all contacts in your Community, make sure no filters are applied so that your full contact list is displayed.
Check the box in the first row of the table. This selects the first 50 rows.
- If you have fewer than 50 contacts, move on to the next step.
- If you have more than 50 contacts, click the message that appears to select all of your contacts.
Export in your preferred format
Once your contacts are selected, click the Excel icon and choose from the two available formats.
A confirmation window will appear, giving you the option to export all information or only what's currently displayed. Make your selection and click "Continue".
The export starts right away.
It may take a few minutes if you have a large amount of data to export.
