When you create a form or ticketing event in Springly, you can configure a number of settings. To keep things simple, the default configuration offers a limited set of options.
You can also choose to enable more advanced settings. This article covers how to customize the checkout flow for your forms and ticketing events.
For other types of advanced settings, please refer to this section.
Note : The information in this article applies to all form types available in Springly — Membership Campaigns, Donation Campaigns, ticketing events, and Product Sales — which all work similarly. Some terms (such as participants, members, or buyers) may vary depending on the form type.
Enable checkout flow customization
You can enable checkout flow customization for people signing up through your Membership Campaigns, Donation Campaigns, or Event forms.
Note: Enabling this setting makes it available across all your forms. You can then choose whether or not to use it on each one.
To access the advanced settings page, go to Settings > Forms and ticketing, then under Advanced settings, toggle on (green button) Checkout flow customization.
Customize the checkout flow
You can now customize the landing page shown after a membership, donation, or event registration is confirmed.
You can also enable a cart system, allowing people to sign up for multiple forms before completing their order. This is especially useful for letting buyers make a single payment instead of going through multiple separate transactions.
Go to the Distribution tab of your form to configure these options.
In the Continue / Redirect after an order section, enter the URL (link starting with https) of the page or pages you want to redirect users to:
Click Update once you have entered the URL(s).
Redirect page after a purchase
After confirming their payment, the user lands on the payment confirmation page and clicks Return to site. They then see a summary page of their purchase, and clicking the Return to site button redirects them to the page you defined.
Note: If you don't enter a URL for the Redirect page after a purchase, the Return to site button will automatically redirect to your website's Home page.
Redirect page for continuing orders
The "Add more items to cart" button will appear before the payment step of a form. It will redirect to the page you defined (another form, for example).
Note: If you don't enter a URL for the Redirect page for continuing orders, the "Add more items to cart" button will not be displayed.
