These transactions typically stand out in several ways:
- Purchases you did not authorize
- Amounts that differ from what you approved
- Transactions sent to recipients you don't recognize
Fraudulent transactions can occur in several scenarios:
- Card transactions:
- Your physical card was stolen
- A fraudster obtained your card details, whether virtual or physical
- A fraudster gained access to your account
- Wire transfers:
